Welcome to ISTE+ASCD Books

Do you aspire to be a published author? Are you passionate about transforming the learning experience for students and schools? Would you like to share your expertise and ideas with other educators around the world? The ISTE+ASCD community of thought leaders and practitioners is your place.

Why Publish with ISTE+ASCD?

Value to the community. Our readers include K–12 teachers, school and district leaders, instructional and technology coaches, professors, and teacher-librarians. They value our books for their practical strategies, thoughtful pedagogy, technical accuracy, and attention to detail. By writing a book for ISTE+ASCD, you can reach all of these educators—and their students—and make a significant contribution to the profession.

Author support and outreach. You are never “just one more author” at ISTE+ASCD. Our editorial staff is committed to each project we publish, and we deeply respect authors’ expertise, ensuring that your ideas are presented in the best way possible. Our support extends to marketing and distribution as well. We make sure each product is available through many targeted channels, including key retailers such as Amazon and Barnes & Noble. We promote our books through our website, events, webinars, catalogs, email campaigns, and social media channels to get the word out about your work.

A global audience. ISTE+ASCD books are distributed throughout the world. In addition, through our active international rights program, many of our books are translated into Chinese, Arabic, and other languages. We present your titles to overseas publishers at international book fairs and seek opportunities with ministries of education in other countries in alignment with ISTE+ASCD’s global education initiatives.

Influence in the field. Our books are respected in the field, and ISTE+ASCD authors share in that prestige. Eight titles per year are selected as member benefits and distributed to thousands of ISTE+ASCD members in print and digitally. Our authors become well-known to a large audience of educators and are encouraged to take advantage of other opportunities to share their work, such as presenting at our annual conference; submitting articles to our blog and flagship magazine, Educational Leadership; consulting with schools and districts as members of our Faculty; and more.

How Do I Start the Process?
